Location of Bombay
Travel to Bombay, the commercial capital of India. Bombay (presently called Mumbai), is situated on the western coast of India, is the largest metropolis of the country. It is part of India's beautiful west coast of the Arabian Sea that runs down from Gujarat through Bombay, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala.
Climate of Bombay
Although, through most of the year Bombay's climate is warm and humid, it turns out to be pleasant during the winter (November-March), when the skies are clear and the temperature is cool. The temperature is on the rise from the month of March until the monsoons break out in mid-June, which goes on until September. October offers a relief from humidity and heat.
The best time to travel to Bombay is between October and March. During summer the temperature usually hovers around 35 C to 23 C. Winter brings respite from the sweltering heat, with temperature going down to 29 C and 19 C.
